EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH THE PRESIDENT OF UYOCCIMA

My name is Mrs. Affiong Israel Ibanga, FCIS FCILT FIFFN JP. I’m a serial entrepreneur par excellence. I’m an amazingly unassuming lady who sees no limitations or impossibilities in the course of life. A strong believer in what God can do. I can go on and on. Why? Because I know who I am and with God all things are possible. I get inspired by being around optimists with positive energy. Negativity drains my energy and leaves me empty and I hate that! My drive comes from people who inspire me spiritually and physically. I am also self- motivated. I find, that I inspire myself with positive vibes. This is innate and I’m blessed to be so because my being is encouraged to do more in impacting in lives positively. To be an exceptional leader, you have to first believe in yourself and in the course you’re chatting. You have to stand for something, if not you’ll fall for anything and everything! To be a good leader, you have to have a listening ear and be proactive in decision makings. Don’t ever think everyone will agree with your decisions, be it as it may, determine to create a positive influence in your course of leadership. Be a great leader! I have been serving in the capacity of a President in most of my organisations, business setups, church associations and secular circles. Uyoccima is just one of them, which is another feather to the existing feathers on my cap and I’m determined to give in my best, so help me God. By nature, I’m a change agent and I believe in making an impactful difference in all that I accept to do. It’s a call to serve! In my 2-year -administration, I hope to set an unprecedented record; setting the pace for mega business growth amongst members and the state at large. Quite a lot has to be done to attain the goal as I came to meet no structure in place. It’s a herculean task but with God, I’ll surmount every challenge. I’d like to live you with these words: be transparent and trust worthy in your business deals, shun sharp business practices, they devalue one’s integrity and bring about low productivity. Thrive to walk the talk and earn the trust and you’ll prosper in all that you do. You can be that one person that God decides to use in effecting change in your generation. Do all you can in the scope of your jurisdiction to impact positively on humanity, Which is the core purpose of our journey on planet earth. Stay alive and make a difference in someone’s life…
